I have just done test with nttctp, i have bad results, around 30mbits/s with 256k or 3mbits with 64k..
(cpu limited)
I have also do test with netperf (netperf.org), windows guest->linux host : 5gb/s! (with tso)
(cpu limited)
or 500mbit/s without tso (same than iperf)
so, it's really seem than iperf use a lot more cpu. (maybe because of cygwin ?)

Maybe the windows size is different, or nttcp make more parallelism (-P in ipperf).
I think parallelism speed up receive offload (rss), on multi core guest.
I'll do test with win2008R2 today

On same VMs, using Using ntttcp i get 157MB/s! So seems there is something wrong with ipperf.
