Have you tested that works your strategy with a node that is off and not
turned on?

I've been manually managing the VM's on my three node cluster for now, we
don't really need VM's transferred within seconds of a node failure - next
day would do :)

with HA and rgmanager - is it just auto doing what I do manually?

e.g Node1 fails

- Unplug Node1

- logon to Node2

- mv /etc/pve/nodes/Node1/qemu-server/*.conf
/etc/pve/nodes/Node2/qemu-server/

- Manually start VM's on Node2

Is there anything else it would do?
