Well,I think that some change will be done in config,

the code is really fresh, need to be discused, review,...

so, I you are going in production in some days, maybe it's better to wait.

if you really want to do test, save the current proxmox deb from
/var/cache/apt/archives/

you can use dpkg -i to rollback them.

I have some numa servers spare available to do tests,
I'll try to do as fast as possible to finish implementation.

Hi Dietmar and Alexandre.

First of all, I want to thank and congratulate them for the effort and
professionalism that you demonstrate in their work.

Now i have a doubt, as Alexandre gave me two patches that apparently will
solve my problem of numa in PVE, i need to ask you if will be supported by
PVE, my preoccupation is that if in a future i will need to do a upgrade, i
will lose these features that are very important for get a good performance
on the VM, that in my particular case it is more simpler, due that the 2
servers has the same hardware setup.

Of course that will be wonderful if a live migration can be performed in
servers that have different hardware setups (talking about of numa), but if
it isn't possible, maybe for advanced people that know what are doing and
with the support of numa into PVE, can to do the configurations to hand
editing the respective files. Only a think: It is better to have it and not
need it, than need it and not have it.

In conclusion, we need to know: Which will be the future of PVE?, and of
this mode:
1) I will know the impact of a upgrade.
2) Maybe Alexandre can do the patches of numa that will not be lost with
the first upgrade of PVE.

@Alexandre:
Always thanking so fine and kind attention on your part, that for me is
fantastic, i would like tell you that i guess that before of install your
patches that you gave me, also i guess that you and Dietmar should finish of
solve how will work PVE, of this mode, and if is necessary to do a change in
these patches, then i will can to install the new patches, unless that you
suggest me otherwise, or you believe that this topic will not finish in a
very short time (also i have a time problem), so i would like hear your
opinion at respect.

Best regards
Cesar
