I known that pc-dimm are supported with numa, not sure if we can update topology when adding more memory.

We can hot-add a memory-backend-ram, not sure if we can update it with new value.
I'll try to find more informations.

I think that balloning is not a problem here.




BTW, ballonning don't work currently with memory hotplug|pc-dimm devices (wrong values reported).
Patches has been sent to qemu mailing list, but they are waiting that memory unplug is commited,
before applied balloning patches.
So, it'll be ready for qemu 2.3.
