I have just finished to install the omnios vm under proxmox 3.1, seem to work.
I see the e1000g network interface.
Do you have a small tuto install to create the storage and initial setup ?

ok, no problem, I'll try to install it on my side (vm or physical if it doesn't work).

I will not be able to keep my promise since proxmox 3.1 and Omnios does
not get along. It boots fine but no matter what nic I choose the
network is broken. Packages flow out fine but no package is received
from the network - a brilliant firewall;-)
The above also holds true for VM's created in proxmox < 3.1 which ran
fine before. I will therefore conclude that the network in either
proxmox 3.1 or KVM in proxmox 3.1 suffers from a regression.
