I think this is a great idea.

If the background of the status column shaded from left to right based on the percentage completed that would make a great indicator.

Background fully green when completed successfully, red when task failed.

Maybe all active tasks could be at the top of the list so they can be seen without needing to scroll down.

Hi all,

I have a suggestion to an improvement. When the user start possible
long time operations like migration, backup or move disk would it not be
an idea if the status column in the task panel instead of the present
gauge showed progression with a growing bar in the status column
resembling the gui from VmWare?

Motivation
In the current implementation you can only watch progression when
opening a modal panel in which case all access to the gui is blocked.
