[pve-devel] rbd alloc_image problem

user seem to report another error in forum.

** ERROR **: vma_reader_register_bs for stream drive-virtio0 failed - unexpected size 42064674816 != 42064081920
aborting...



What is strange, is that the minimal unit is 1 megabytes

from rbd doc
"--size size-in-mb
Specifies the size (in megabytes) of the new rbd image.
"

I really don't understand how user can have a 42064081920 bytes size. (40115,434570312 MB)

Or maybe the backup have a wrong size ?

Yes, exact size in bytes is stored inside vma file.
