[pve-devel] report on bridge tests

Hi,

I have made test with bridge vlan on bridge,

bad news, It doesn't work :(


vmbr0 <- br2  <- tap devices


Traffic never go from vmbr0 to br2, or from br2 to vrmbr0.
(I check with arping and tcpdump).

Tap devices can communicate inside br2.


I check on internet, but didn't find anything to get it work.




The only way I see is openvswitch, but it isn't compatible with openvz for the moment. (And we can't mix linux bridge and openvswitch modules).

With openvswitch we can put vlan tag directly on the virtual switch, on the fly, without need to unplug/plug network card on different brige.
