[pve-devel] qemu 1.3, win2003 R2 SP2 x64 crash on boot with hpet enabled

Hi Dietmar,

I was doing test for a proxmox user in forum , with win2003 R2 SP2 X64,

it's crashing at boot with qemu 1.3 with hpet timer enable

bsod:

ACPI.SYS address F735EE64 base at F7352000)



adding -no-hpet is correcting the problem.

(note that it was working fine with qemu-kvm 1.2 for me, but proxmox user report slowdown since qemu-kvm 1.2, maybe this is inkernel irqchip related ....)

Can you reproduce the problem ?
