Yes, if the main problem is the stop the vm.
(But maybe user can downgrade packages, stop the vms and upgrade packages again ?)
I didn't have add the problem, because I always live migrate from old to new proxmox release.
But maybe do we need to warn users before they do the upgrade.

exactly, that is the problem.

But then we need to re-add all that code - not really an option.
