Just check the code, spiceserver seem to support unix socket, but it's not already implemented in qemu...so only tcp for now.

Yes, that is the question. We need something similar to the work we have done 
in qemu-kvm to include pve auth. 

Another problem is the proxy code, something similar to 'qm vncproxy'. Not sure 
if that works at all with spice?
