<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div>As per the subject. I have VM's whose disks are thin provisioned, say 30GB actual disk usage of a 128GB disk as qcow2 on CephFS (qcows2) and .NFS<br><br></div>When I move them to ZFS they become fat provisioned, taking up all the space allocated to them (128GB, 1TB etc), regardless of content. The ZFS STorage *sdoes* have "Thin Provisioned" ticked.<br><br></div>If I create a empty drive via the proxmox ui directly on the ZFS pool, it is indeed thin provisioned, only taking up a few k.<br><br></div>Is there a way to work around this? its stalled my entire migration - I don't have room on my ZFS pool to accommodate all the fat provisioned drives, plus it would slow my backups down by a huge amount.<br><div><div><br><br clear="all"><div><div><br>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature">Lindsay</div>
