
<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: times new roman,new york,times,serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'>Greetings-<br><br>I recently experienced an odd issue where, due to failure of an NFS host handling backups for a Proxmox cluster, several nodes stopped responding properly. They appear as offline in the web interface, and I/O is very slow, even to non-NFS destinations.<br><br>Is this a known issue where a stale or timed out NFS mount will cause the system to misbehave quite poorly? Would an alternate network storage protocol such as iSCSI perform better in that scenario?<br><br>--Tim<br></div></body></html>
