For working live snapshots the following options exists:<br>
File system based:<br>
1) Local storage using Qcow2<br>
2) ISCSI LUN not marked 'direct LUN' where a file system is created on<br>
and using Qcow2<br>
3) NFS shared storage using Qcow2<br>

Block based through ISCSI:<br>
1) Ceph using RAW<br>
2) Nexenta using RAW<br>
3) ZFS based storage using RAW<br>
4) Sheepdog using RAW<br>
