Hi,
on Proxmox 3.1 with LInux KVM guest :

# hdparm -t /dev/vda

/dev/vda:
Timing buffered disk reads: 896 MB in 3.02 seconds = 296.78 MB/sec

On the prxomox host itself:

hdparm -t /dev/sda

/dev/sda:
Timing buffered disk reads: 388 MB in 3.01 seconds = 129.09 MB/sec

So, ....the VM is more than twice faster than the real disk
subsystem... Weird....

Did i hit a cache problem ?

Thanks

Best regards
