Never run Raid5/6 for a database.<br>
<br>
Never run an SSD on a hardware raid controller. SSD's do not
understand SAS commands, and you will loose TRIM support.<br>
<br>
If you want a fast server, you will need raid 1/0 with 4 x 15 000
rpm sas2 drives on a raid controller with 512MB cache a BBU
(battery).<br>
<br>
Here are my benchmarks with proxmox2:

If yes, I would prefer a HDD-Raid for your VM’s. Raid 5 oder
6 with a good Raid-Controller (LSI, 3ware for example) and
if you need much diskI/O you should use SAS Disk’s, or, if
you have much money, Flashdisk.

RAM: +/- 4 GB<br>
CPU 1 Core +/-@ 2.0 GHz<br>
Maximum 8 guest VM<br>

in my server two eth each gigabit <br>
<br>
I want to run some mysql and membase service which
have huge disk I/O<br>
So is the server configuration is OK or do i need SAS
HDD or something else?<br>
