proxmox that wouldn't also imply I can ignore redhat and
run their distro unmodified. Just because the download
link is ambiguous does not mean the product can be run
free.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000"> Citrix charges a lot of money for
XenServer, Apple charges a lot for OS X despite both being
based largely on open source operating systems.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000"> I'm with Scott, their
website/marketing people are likely idiots, but unless
they are free I'm not risking a six figure fine for my
company by running any of their code on my systems (and
even then I'd likely just leverage the open source
components on their own if I was using them)."</font><br>

However, you're preaching to the choir, we all here KNOW
this great product is free, and we have donated $$ to
help further the development.<br>

I think many of those guys on Spiceworks are heavily
invested in VMware and Hyper-V. When we mention Proxmox,
they can't wrap their heads around the fact that such a
product can be free, so they do their best to twist
every bit of logical reasoning they can.<br>

subscription page, this will all go away, and you will
